I recently noticed that Passion Player locks up when it attemps to play a bad MP3. I have to manually close the player from the task manager when this occurs. The lock up is in windows not the system. As I can manually close Passion Player and restart it. With over 18000 songs, it's going to take me a while to find out which file is bad.. If passion player could come up with an error box I could delete the bad file, but Passion player locks up displaying the previous song, it doesn't get to the bad song, it looks like it's attempting to read the bad file and locks up. The error I get from windows when I maually end the task from the task manager is -- access violation at address 004f7ae7 in module passap2.exe. But I'm running Windows Server 2003 x64 so I'm not sure if this helps. Ending the task and restarting passion players works fine. Now to find the bad song Take Care

Passion Audio Player reproduces mp3 files via BASS.DLL from www.un4seen.comPassion Audio Player displays the error messages that bass.dll gives to it. So, if you find the defective mp3 file please post it to me, to give it to the author of BASS.DLL so that he can find what's the problem is. Thanks again for providing such feedback. Beleive me it really helps

I just real;ized that MP3 Checked deleted the bad files,, if I see this error again I'll save the file for future troubleshooting, I appologies, I didn't think that the software would just dump the bad files.
I know for a fact that I have those files on DVD.. If they are corrupt I will forward them. but it will take a few days.. With over 165 gigs of music on various DVD's will take a bit of time.
Thanks for your patients.
